Rosier, a bilingual female-dominated Montreal collective, perfectly embodies the expression “between tradition and modernity.” With a strong airy, poetic and soaring bent, the quintet brings a unique touch to today’s indie-folk.
Rosier’s tight-knit band has been performing as a group for over a decade. The group has played in over fifteen countries around the world, and has garnered four major nominations, including one at the ADISQ gala and three at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. This fall, the band releases “elle veille encore”, an introspective album exploring the maternal spirit in an ethereal folk universe tinged with dream-pop and indie-tronica.
