“The Soulmate Project” is the brainchild of musician, producer and one-man band Roman Andor. The Berliner by choice playfully creates and mixes orchestral sounds and Eastern European influences with electro swing, disco, soul and global pop, without applying genre blinders and studiously ignoring instrumental prohibition signs.
Recorder and cello are equal, clarinet and electric guitar can coexist with each other as long as the beat hits hard. The multi-instrumentalist’s often exuberant creative vision now finds its peak in his debut album “Vinyl Flavor”, on which he not only sings with his very own retro voice, but also collaborates with various international musicians.
