At UNPLACES, the cool minimalism of electro merges with the standard instruments of a rock band to form an inseparable organism.
With sovereign ease and unimpressed by any genre limits, the formation from Bochum and Hanover creates songs of an anthemic character time and again.
Elevated the synthesizer to a formative stylistic device, UNPLACES lets danceable trip-hop beats meet e-bow-supported guitar chords. There are also melancholy chants.
And in the end product, which is consequently called Electro-Wave-Rock, it is even used for genre-untypical instruments. Such as. the trumpet, which has a particularly positive impact on the band's live shows.
