Hubert Dorigatti: Mountainblues from Nashville

Hubert Dorigatti - The Nashville Sessions Album

The latest bravura piece by the Italian singer-songwriter Hubert Dorigatti already has the recording location in the title: “Nashville Sessions”. The songs on the EP combine blues, americana, folk, funk and even some hints of psychedelic rock into a diverse unity. And the fact that the pieces are being produced in “Music City” is of course no coincidence.

After all, the bearded blues musician from the Dolomites has the extraordinary opportunity to work with multiple Grammy winner Zack Allen (Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Keb Mo’, Kingfish). The producer even contributes some of the lyrics.
The final recordings are preceded by an intensive and prolific exchange. Over the course of a year, sketches and ideas travel back and forth between South Tyrol and Tennessee. But on site things are going very quickly. All tracks are recorded in one day.

Of course, this is not least due to the excellent studio musicians. Anton Nesbitt on bass and Marcus Finnie on drums. Rob McNelley and Kenny Greenberg support on guitars. The experienced Mike Rojas provides the unmistakable Hammond B-3 organ sound. And with “The Nashville Sessions” Hubert Dorigatti once again proves his talent and dedication to timeless music.
