Ole has reopened his very personal playground and released two new albums in one fell swoop with “Wir müssen leben” (“We must live”) and “Heimathafen” (“Hailing Port”). And because playing alone is no fun, exciting guests play along again. So cabaret legend and actor Ottfried Fischer can be heard in two pieces. Accompanied by Helmut Zerlett’s organ, this time it’s not German punk but sports legends who sing along.
Among them Olympic champion and weight lifter Matthias Steiner, table tennis world champions Jörg Roßkopf and Steffen Fetzner, trainer guru Erich Rutemöller, referee Dr. Markus Merk, BVB legend Norbert Dickel, Frank Ordenewitz or ex-Liverpool striker Sean Dundee. Together they sing in honor of the singer-songwriter and rock musician Gerhard “Gundi” Gundermann, who died a quarter of a century ago, his song “Keine Zeit mehr” (“No more time”). And intoning, among other things, in the chorus: “And I don’t have any more time, I no longer queue in the long queues where you can sell yourself.” More information can be found here.
